BP-KLET-I John Klette buttplate in steelJohn Frederick Klette was a noted gun maker in the late 1700's. Klette was the master armorer at the Rappahannock Forge in Falmouth, VA during the Revolutionary War, and his home was the crossroads of Stevensburg in Culpeper County, Virginia outside of Fredericksburg. He was also known in the Salem area of North Carolina. Height: 4 7/8", Width: 1 15/16", Comb length: 2 1/4", Comb height: 1/4". Goes with our TG-KLET-I.

BP-ROC-GS - Rocacco style Jaeger buttplate - German silverGerman silver casting from the Ron Scott collection. This casting was made from a Rocacco style Jaeger rifle. Nicely chiseled on the comb. Not as fancy as our other Jaeger buttplates that we currently offer, but very tastefully done (not over done). H = 5 1/4", W = 2 1/4", CL = 4 1/4".
