To use, apply generously with one of our swabs (#16960), and allow to set for a few minutes. (Don't let it scare you-it will turn a sickly yellow color-DON"T PANIC). Then heat, preferable with a heat gun, or, hold above the burner or element of your stove. (Be careful not to char the sharp edges of your stock!). This activates the reaction between the acid and the iron, which is dissolved in the product, leaving a beautiful reddish brown color. At this point, some people neutralize with a baking soda and water solution.
