51100-2 - Vol. 1, Rifles of Colonial America *New edition*Volume 1. A detailed photographic study of almost all available surviving pre-Revolutionary rifles of this early period. Written by George Shumway, this two volume set contains 654 pages of illustrations not found anywhere else. Belly and top views abound, along with technical close-ups showing those details, that we as builders have to have to make the gun right. It has been 1980 since these last appeared and only two thousand have been produced now in this second edition printing. I cannot stress the importance of this set. These show what Kindigs “Thoughts” do not! This is the new reprint with added guns and many color photo's. Much cleaner printing and photos!
