This stock is typical Lancaster lines but with a lower wrist and less drop normally seen in the earlier styles. These later styles had splendid carving, engraving and exceptional striping in the curly maple with ornate inlays and decoration throughout. This Late stock is the slimmest Lancaster style we have. Pay close
attention to the thickness of the buttstock as it will fit only a few available buttplates. Ask if you need assistance for proper selection. We do have plates to fit. The thinness of this stock limits its use to a maximum of a 7/8” straight barrel size or A weight swamped barrel. Specify barrel size and type. Not available for swamped barrels.
