Trapper Pre-Shaped Pistol Stock

The famous “Horse Pistol” was usually in larger calibers and heavy barrels. These larger pistols were normally in a companion caliber to the rifle carried by the mountain man for ease of munitions. These pistols were normally stocked in walnut or maple and were usually plain with iron or brass furnishings primarily in percussion. The grip  of  this  stock can be shaped to most any desired shape including a Kentucky style but comes heavy. Watch your lock panel size prior to ordering. This pre-shaped stock comes standard with straight octagon barrel and rod channel with drilled ramrod hole; and is not inlet for lock or triggers. Inletting option shown below for having lock inlet. Triggers cannot be inlet on pistols.
