A Light Military, Flintlock Holster Pistol

A 1733 First Model French Dragoon flintlock pistol released by France in 1733 as their first attempt at a standard issue military pistol. There were basically two models, the plain soldiers model “D” and the fancier carved and engraved officers model “C.” Either version can be made from this stock and mountings.
Our First Model 1733 stock and mountings are all copied from an original. Our pistol stock is available in your choice of premium striped curly maple, or figured curly walnut fully inlet for our 9-3/8” long swamped octagon to round barrel, and with ramrod hole & channel cut. Your choice of brass, steel or German silver mountings. This stock is produced by us from an original 1733 pistol for your assurance of the finest possible reproduction quality of historically accurate architectural lines in this 1733 French period style.

To order a complete kit, choose the barrel, then select the metal you wish your mountings (buttplate, triggerguard & thimbles) to be in. Kits will include all parts to build one pistol; stains and finishes not included.
