Circa 1763 English Light Dragoon Pistol An English Military Flintlock Pistol
An English military holster pistol from the period about 1760 to 1763. Long, sleek, narrow lines evolve into a graceful but formidable weapon originally commissioned for military use. They were very light for their large size and since it was military, the originals were smooth bored with no mounted or fixed sights. Widely used in the American Revolution. Our pistol stock is available in either superb premium curly maple stock wood, or curly walnut, fully inlet for our 10” long swamped round barrel, and with ramrod hole & channel. Your choice of brass, steel or German silver mountings. This stock & mountings has been produced from an original for your assurance of the finest possible reproduction quality of all appropriate architectural lines of an English light dragoon style of this time period.
To order a complete kit, choose the barrel, then select the metal you wish your mountings (buttplate, triggerguard & thimbles) to be in. Kits will include all parts to build one pistol; stains and finishes not included.
To order individual parts, see the parts list and select the parts you need.
