MBS is proud to provide you with Green Mountains’ straight octagon and swamped barrels, all styles of barrels available by custom order, Goodoien off-hand straight octagon target barrels (the absolute best competition quality barrels made today), and swamped barrels by superb quality manufacturer, Rice Barrel Company.
We are one of the largest Green Mountain distributors in the industry today, and are happy to announce that in addition to their standard straight octagon 36” and 42” barrels, GM has begun to manufacture swamped barrels in 38”lengths. Coming in 2004 is 42” and 44” swamps as well! As they do become available, you can bet on our stocking these fine barrels. Please, prior to ordering the swamped barrels made by GM, always check with us for updates on availability. We will make every attempt to keep them in stock!
Another fine quality barrel maker, Rice Barrel Company, is going to make their debut with us as a new manufacturer to provide MBS with our very own custom designed performance, and superior quality swamped barrels. We have evaluated a barrel from their standard line and have been very impressed with the quality of manufacture and accuracy. Based on these tests, I have selected Rice to exclusively provide us with these new swamped barrels. These barrels will be of my own performance specifications and offered only through us with the traditional style round groove, slow twist rifling to individual caliber. Only this traditional style and the calibers chosen by popular demand are available in these swamped barrels. Although these barrels are more expensive than our past maker, there is no comparison in the quality, and get this…… they are Stress Relieved, draw filed and polished inside and out! No one else is stress relieving their barrels!
Goodoien target barrels are the elite of all production barrels that I have personally examined. Their interior is completely and expertly hand polished to a mirror finish. Even the exterior looks good! Every single barrel is handcrafted one at a time to this much detail and perfection, and guaranteed by Goodoien Company to be at its premium performance. MBS will offer a limited line of offhand competition straight octagon barrels in 35” and 42” lengths only. This is our most expensive and best possible quality barrel line which is proven in the field in major competition!
MBS is happy to announce our close association with a quality barrel maker who wishes to provide us with specialty barrels on custom order. This maker will be providing us our new octagon to round line of both rifled and smooth bore barrels, as well as premium quality straight octagon, straight tapered and round barrels on custom order. At his request, we will not publish the name so that we can continue to get barrels in a very timely manner!
It is my intent to bring to you only the best in quality manufacturers. Not makers who do not deliver expected quality, or back their products after the sale.
